When unpacking boxes, that had once been my mom's, I found her knitting needles. I have held on to these needles for several years and late last fall I found a wonder website that taught me how to knit.
I made myself this wonderful headband that was kind of "hippie" and was really great at holding my wild hair back. This morning NJ ask me to make her a headband like mine. Mine is made for an adult head so I did some figuring and made a pattern that would fit NJ's head.
I completed NJ's this afternoon and Emma is so in love with it that I already have my Friday project mapped out.
(I found the pattern for the large headband on blog I like to read and after I finished mine I found some other bloggers must have been checking out the same blog.)
