Potty Training Emma
Emma is trying so hard to be a big girl. She doesn't turn 2 for a couple of weeks but she is thinking about using the potty. She is very willing to sit on the potty but, she will not use it yet. This morning she was sitting on the potty and I told her if she used the potty she could start wearing pull-ups. Little Miss Emma took me seriously and when she got up, without using it, she went and found a pull-up and put it on. To my surprise she showed up in the living room looking like this
Both Legs in one Leg hole!
She is so proud of herself!!!

Easter Sunday
Easter was a very busy day for the girls. We all woke up at 7 (we usually don't get up to 8:30 on Sunday) and checked out what the Easter Bunny brought us. The girls had a great time hunting the eggs the EB hid for them. It was off to Church at 9:20 and the girls loved showing off their new dresses. Granddad and Grams took us out to the Desoto Club for a great lunch where the Villagers just adored the girls. After a quick clothes change we went to Granddad and Grams to hunt eggs and decorate cupcakes. After a short afternoon of play it was back to Church and then our Sunday night ritual-dinner with half the members of our congregation and then Walmart with Nathan. When we did get home at 9 the girls just passed out. The girls really did miss their Daddy but I tried to keep them busy.
She loves her Webkinz but check out that "bedhead"

Dying Eggs
The girls and I had a lot of fun Saturday dying eggs and just having fun together. I boiled eggs while we picked up the kitchen and living room. The girls thought it took FOREVER for the eggs to cook and to cool off but it did eventually happen. After dying the eggs we were waiting for them to dry before we put stickers on them so Emma went into the dinning room to check on her eggs and I guess she did a little bit more than looking. NJ and I went to check on the eggs later and most of Emma's were smashed. Emma had picked up her eggs and slammed them back down. Poor Emma she really tries to help but sometimes it doesn't always work out that way. We did have a great day and we have some eggs to eat. It was also warm enough in the afternoon for the girls to slide out front for a little while and they played in their cars on the deck until bed time.

Bad, Bad Darrah
IS ANYONE STILL CHECKING?
I have been a very bad blogger. I wont make any excuses I have just not done it. I will try to catch everyone up and then maybe I can start blogging every week.
For those of you who don't know Mark was activated by the military in early September. The girls and I were very lonely but we did get to see him several times a month. Mark got several days off at Christmas and we enjoyed spending time with him. We made a short trip to Nashville and met Big Mark and Taylor. The girls loved playing with their big cousin Taylor and the adults had a great just relaxing. The first weekend in January Mark left for Camp Shelby Mississippi and was there until last weekend when he went to Kuwait. The girls and I did get to go see him the first of March and had a great week. We got a condo in Louisiana and Big Mark and Taylor came down again. It was very hard to say goodbye. On March 13th I travel by myself to Camp Shelby to celebrate Mark's 33rd birthday with him. I was able to stay until the 15th and then headed back to get the girls. Mark flew out the next day and safely arrived early Tuesday morning (Kuwait time).

Taylor and NJ at the New Orleans Aquarium
I know that was short but it got everyone up to speed and I will try my best to do better because this will be one of Mark's only ways to see pictures of the girls and see what it going on.
I am off to dye eggs with the girls.
